Welcome to the LEGO MindStorms RCX Hub! 👋
This BrickBot organization contains information and projects related to the original LEGO® MindStorms set—the LEGO® MindStorms RCX!
A hacker community grew around the RCX—individuals intrigued by the capabilities and determined to push the limits of what was possible. Of a time before GitHub came to prominence as site for sharing open source projects, many of these RCX projects were scattered on various personal and univeristy websites across the Internet.
A number of these projects have otherwise disappeared from the Internet, while others languished in deprecated version control systems or could only be found by looking up the website on an Internet archive. A few were projects that had been downloaded and saved before the original web pages disappeared, but whereever and whenever possible, links to either the original website (if still active) or an Internet archive version (if available) have been included.
About Project Euler
What is Project Euler?
Project Euler is a series of challenging mathematical/computer programming problems that will require more than just mathematical insights to solve. Although mathematics will help you arrive at elegant and efficient methods, the use of a computer and programming skills will be required to solve most problems.
The motivation for starting Project Euler, and its continuation, is to provide a platform for the inquiring mind to delve into unfamiliar areas and learn new concepts in a fun and recreational context.
Who are the problems aimed at?
The intended audience include students for whom the basic curriculum is not feeding their hunger to learn, adults whose background was not primarily mathematics but had an interest in things mathematical, and professionals who want to keep their problem solving and mathematics on the cutting edge.
Currently we have 1314304 registered members who have solved at least one problem, representing 220 locations throughout the world, and collectively using 114 different programming languages to solve the problems.
Can anyone solve the problems?
The problems range in difficulty and for many the experience is inductive chain learning. That is, by solving one problem it will expose you to a new concept that allows you to undertake a previously inaccessible problem. So the determined participant will slowly but surely work his/her way through every problem.
"Project Euler exists to encourage, challenge, and develop the skills and enjoyment of anyone with an interest in the fascinating world of mathematics."
Image Processing for Puzzle Solving
Classic jigsaw puzzles, while being a simple hobby and entertaining pastime, are of great educational value for the human brain as they train its pattern recognition abilities, improve coordination and develop spatial awareness. Since in computer science pattern recognition is typically solved by image processing, our R&D engineers decided to develop a computer vision program for the automatic assembly of a jigsaw puzzle. Despite being only a workshop project, our automatic jigsaw puzzle solver has a number of potential applications, among which reassembling of damaged documents and stitching satellite images into maps.

Svelte is a radical new JavaScript framework that is winning the hearts of developers. Its simple syntax makes it a great candidate for beginners who are looking to dive into the world of JavaScript frameworks. One of the best ways to learn, is by building, so in this guide, you will learn how to use the features Svelte offers to create a simple hangman game.
